Description:
Successful completion of the Degrees of Reading Power assessment, or the DRP, is a pre-application requirement for RRC's Health Care Aide, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences programs. The DRP is a reading comprehension test designed for English first language speakers, i.e. people who learned to speak English at home as a child, were educated in English and now live and work in English.

Details:
- It is a test that determines how well you understand what you're reading.
- There are 70 multiple choice questions to be answered.
- As you work through the test, the passages become more challenging.
- Although scheduled for three hours, it is an untimed test. While many people are able to finish within the scheduled time, you will have as much time as you need to write the test.
